Qualified Representatives Invited
Current focus: U.S., Mini-Package Reps
We are always interested in creating
productive business relationships with companies who will represent
us well in various parts of the world and in various markets. We cultivate
responsible, reliable, accountable relationships with our reps. KASELCO has
representation in several countries including Canada; China and SE Asia; Mexico
and Central America; as well as the United States.
We have two levels of sales
representation:
The Slam Dunk Mini-Package
Representative: This is a company who sells products or services
into markets which need to treat emulsions, suspended solids, arsenic from
drinking water and chromate
conversion rinses -- otherwise known as our "Slam Dunk" applications -
in the Mini-Package size range of up to 10 GPM (or multiple packages).
This would include pressure washer distributors or water handling and treatment
companies.
Deep technical training is not required. Traditional Water treatment expertise is
good to have, but not necessary.
Full Representative:
This Representative can sell our Mini-Packages into the Slam Dunk markets and
can represent us in other waste streams and with larger, engineered packages. This is a company who has a level of technical expertise such that they can
assess a customer's waste; decipher the waste stream and collect or create a
representative sample and get it to us for analysis and evaluation; and can
participate in designing, installing and supporting an installation. This
company can sell the One-Pass EC Mini-Package and our other more complex
engineered systems. Training by KASELCO is necessary.
This is what we expect of our
representatives:
- A representative is a technical
company who is already in a business aimed at industrial and commercial
marketplaces who generate wastewater streams that our equipment can treat.
The company may be equipment, chemical or service based.
- A company may engage in a
representation agreement (preview available on request) after their
principal(s) and key technical person(s) have been to KASELCO for training
in the technology and we get to know each other, and we all agree.
- If key personnel at your company
change, they will come to Shiner for training, or you may bring us to your
place for training.
- You will complete fully a Client
Evaluation and Information Form for each project you wish to claim as yours.
If we do not have that form completed and if you are not actively following
up on that lead, another representative may claim that prospect or we may
take it over.
- You may bring us to your area at any
time to support your business.
- If we come to your area, please take advantage
of our presence and let us support your sales calls and sales progress.
Set us up to be productive and we'll stay another day or two.
- Neither territories nor markets are
restricted, but we expect our representatives to focus where they will be
effective. Don't try to sell something in a place you can't get to
easily to complete the sale and be of service.
- Service well the customers with whom you
engage in service agreements.
- A representative may purchase a
benchtop scale treatability testing system, at their discretion. If
this is done at the time they become a representative we will add a day to
the training to be certain you know how to use the apparatus and generally
interpret the results.
- Bring samples to our facility at
any time to observe the evaluation of their prospects wastewater streams.
- Come to our facility at any time
to get more training on the shop floor, in the sales office and in the lab.
- Actively market KASELCO products
and services in their markets.
- Accurately and honorably represent our company
and the technology.
- Regularly bring in new inquiries.
- Regularly call on old accounts
even if they said "no" months or a year or so earlier.
- To be in communication with your
potential customers and with us about sales prospects. Do not let a
lead go cool, or a proposal die on the vine. We will not let a sale go
fallow. If you drop the ball we will pick it up and carry it to completion,
even giving the lead to another representative. Stay awake and in
communication with your customers and with us regarding the status of a
sales project.
- To hire engineers or consultants and
seek advice from experts to support product and system integration.
Our representatives can expect this of
KASELCO:
- We will support your sales as best we can.
Engineering services are available. A special website is available
with information only for you.
- We will train you regarding the
technology at our facility at
any time. You are always welcome. We
have a company guest house in which you may stay (if rooms are available -
first come basis).
- We will talk with you about market or
project development over the phone or e-mail.
- We will always support your
understanding of the technology over the phone and by e-mail.
- We will give you top priority if you
bring samples to our lab for treatability studies. While you are here
we will evaluate the waste, its treatment, and the end results, and assist
you in developing a scope of supply that will work for that particular
project.
- We will assist you and your people in
learning about a particular industry's waste stream as it applies to the
sale and support of our technologies.
- We will encourage your activity in
the marketplaces.
- We will protect your sales prospects
once registered with a Client Evaluation and Information Form. We do
not tell others of your leads, and we will not go around you unless you drop
the ball.
- We will not let a sale go fallow.
If you drop the ball we will pick it up and carry it to completion, even
giving the lead to another representative. Stay awake and in
communication with your customers and with us regarding the status of a
sales project.
- To design, engineer, manufacture and
deliver products of high reliability and quality as expected in the
industrial and commercial marketplaces we serve, worldwide.
- To honor our warranties and
guarantees.
- To be of service to system owners so
they are satisfied with their systems.
- To support you in your service
agreements with customer so their systems run well.
- To provide spare parts and service in
a timely manner.
