Visit our Facilities

An Invitation

Please come and visit us!  We are located in Shiner, Texas, about half-way between Houston and San Antonio, just 20 Miles south of Flatonia (on I-10).

The famous Spoetzl Brewery, maker of Shiner Bock and other beers, is almost immediately across the street from our 35 acre site.

Guest House

We have a company guest house for our visitors.  Please call and commit to the dates you would be here, and we'll see if there is space available in the house.  It is "first-come first-served", and as you can imagine with a group of companies this big there are usually visitors.  If we can't get you a room in there, you can book yourself a room at one of our town's friendly inns. Both of these listed here are very nice, clean, quiet and country quaint.

Bring a Sample

Many visitors find it interesting to watch a sample of their wastewater being treated in our bench scale system in our lab.  So if you want to, arrange to have a sample arrive here when you do.

Directions

On a map software enter this address or click to go to Google Maps:  959 State Highway 95 North, Shiner, Texas, 77984.

From San Antonio:  Come EAST on Interstate 10 (I-10) toward Houston.  You will pass through the town of Seguin, then in another 24 miles, exit the freeway at "EXIT #632, Highway 183, Gonzales".   The landmark at that intersection is a very large gas station called "Buc-ee's" with the picture of a beaver wearing a baseball hat.  Turn right (south) on highway 183 toward Gonzales.  It is a 2-lane road.  Drive south about 13 miles into the town of Gonzales.  At the traffic signal turn left (east) on Highway 90A (be careful at this left turn since it is a divided highway and you must cross some lanes prior to turning left).  Drive about 19 miles into downtown Shiner.  At the traffic light downtown (there is only one traffic light), turn left (north) on Highway 95.  About 0.6 miles on the right is the brown brick office building of KASPAR Wire Works.  It is just past a green building.  Come in to the front entrance and ask for KASELCO.

From Austin:  Texas Highway 183 is at the west boundary of the Austin airport.  Go SOUTH on 183 for an hour or so through the town of Luling (your need to make a 'jog' to the left across the RR tracks to stay on 183 South); past I-10 Freeway and into Gonzales.

From Houston:  Drive WEST on I-10 an hour and a half or so.  Take Exit 661, "Flatonia".  At the bottom of the ramp turn left (South) and go under the freeway to a "T" intersection about a mile in town.  Turn right (Highway 90) and proceed to the West end of town.  At Texas State Highway 95 (another 2-lane road) turn left (South) to Shiner.  Go through the town of Moulton (about 10 miles) into Shiner (10 more miles).  As you see the John Deere store on the right, you will be seeing the KASPAR complex on the left.  Pull into the parking lot in front of the brown brick office building.  Come in to the front entrance and ask for us at KASELCO.
